Damascus (Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The imams and preachers of the mosques stressed through Friday Prayer that Syria under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad will remain steadfast in face of the enemies of the Arab nation and Islam, adding that nobody can undermine its steadfastness, stances and principles.

They affirmed that Syria's determination to defend the rights of its people will further increase regardless of any challenges.

They indicated that President al-Assad's speech expressed an objective, realistic and national reading of the political situation in the region in general and in Syria in particular.

They added that the speech of President al-Assad was also in line with the internal political situation as it preserved the people's right to demand their needs and to achieve an integrated reform, stressing that all the spectrums of the Syrian people stand by their leadership.

The imams and preachers denounced the acts of sabotage which took place in some of the areas in a number of the Syrian provinces whose perpetrators are instigated by foreign parties, adding that the sabotage targeted the security of the motherland and the citizens through killing a number of them.

They pointed out that the motherland is the home of every citizen, and attacking it or anyone of its people means attacking the whole motherland.

They called for not mixing the required needs and the reform, which is demanded by all the people, and the sedition which targets the unity of Syria and its people, indicating that the awareness of the Syrian people will thwart the sedition.

They added that foiling the attempts to sow sedition is a religious and national duty.

They said that the Arab nation is facing a real conspiracy which major international powers try to implement to deviate Syria from its national and pan-Arab stances, and to force it to abandon its policy and to stop its rejection of the projects which target the Arabs.

They added that the conspiracy also aims at providing the required atmosphere for the hostile powers, on top of which the Israeli enemy through trying to undermine the Syrian stance which support the legitimate resistance, and the liberation of the lands and sanctities.

They urged the citizens to say / no for the sedition…yes for the national unity/, and to stand in the face of whoever tries to threaten the security of the motherland and its stability, stressing that that the foreign parties can't undermine Syria's steadfastness.

The imams and preachers concluded by saying…They wanted to sow sedition, and our people defeated their sinister attempts through their awareness and national unity under the leadership of President al-Assad.
